Okay, so there’ll be no baby lambs or pretty flowers in this film, but we do love a good horror! Starring the gorgeous Chris Hemsworth (StarTrek, Thor), five friends go to stay in a spooky cabin where very, very strange things happen. We don’t want to tell you any more than that… Just enjoy being on the edge of your seat.
One of our fave cooking shows is back and this time our best chefs are battling it out for the chance to cook a fabulous Olympics Banquet. Twenty four of the finest chefs will compete in eight regional heats and for the first episode this week, it’s all about the starters – look out for pork scratchings and yummy caramelised sweetbread. Our tummies are rumbling already!
Amber Scott is Starting Over by Ruth Saberton (£7.99, Orion)
Amber is a woman who loves her city life and her job on a glossy magazine, but when her solicitor boyfriend Ed says he’s taken a job in the West Country her life is turned upside down. Cue a house that’s far too big, an Aga with no manual and a hunky new man leading a hunt over her land. What’s a girl to do? A really funny book for those ‘me-time’ moments.
