You can’t catch a cold through kissing!
And how do we know this? Because of experiments where people with colds kissed healthy volunteers! The results? Only one in 13 volunteers without colds became infected. Coffee can ward off depression
A study shows women who drank two to three cups of caffeinated coffee a day were 15% less likely to develop depression. The results are open to different interpretations, but it adds weight to the evidence that moderate drinking of coffee daily is relatively healthy. Slurp!
Sugar beats hiccups
The old holding your breath or drinking water not work for you? One study found that a teaspoon of granulated sugar, swallowed dry, cured hiccups in 19 out of the 20 people who tried it!
Vodka beats smelly feet!
This could be useful for any teenage boys in your family! If you wipe less-than-fragrant feet with a vodka-soaked cloth, the antiseptic in the alcohol destroys the fungus and bacteria that create the smell!
