Super-speedy Team GB Trifle!

2x350g packs of all-butter Madeira cake
5-6tbsp blackcurrant jam
225g pack raspberries
150g pack blueberries
1x500ml tub ready-made custard
600ml double cream, lightly whipped
2tbsp toasted flaked almonds
1: Cut the sponge into 2cm thick slices and spread liberally with the jam. Arrange a layer of the sponge in a large bowl and add a third of the berries, half the custard and half the whipped cream.
2: Repeat with another layer of sponge and finish off with the cream. Scatter over the remaining berries and flaked almonds and chill until ready to serve.
