For the cup cakes
125g butter or margarine, at room temperature
125g golden caster sugar
2 medium free-range eggs
1tsp vanilla extract
125g self-raising flour
For the icing
250g butter, at room temperature
250g icing sugar, sifted
1tsp vanilla extract
1tbsp milk
edible decorations of your choice

12-hole muffin tin lined with cupcake cases
Piping bag and large star nozzle
